NEWS: Orange Day | September 17, 2009 - 10:32 PM

Six teams from GlaxoSmithkline have worked hard to support the Log Cabin this summer as part of their Orange Day scheme. Two teams came to clean, garden, paint and tidy our grounds and buildings, and children attending the Log Cabin Summer playschemes this summer had the chance to attend one of four wonderful fun days.
Bouncy castles, coconut shies, sports and races, treasure hunts, tug-of-war, arts and crafts, face painting, karaoke and fairground games such as hoopla, hook-a-duck and tin can alley were only some of the great activities in which around 150 children took part.
Shirley Bradburn, Taxation Analyst, commented, “Our Orange Day was very rewarding for us all, but the thanks & joy at the end of the day from the children was very special'”.
