How To Help |
|
There
are a number of ways that you can help us to continue our work:
Volunteer
by working with the children or around the Log Cabin
Make a donation. The Log Cabin is registered with justgiving.co.uk,
a website that allows you to donate to us online. Just go to the
website and click on donate to charity. You’ll find us in
children/disability
Make a donation direct to the Log Cabin. Please fill
in the Gift
Aid form if you are a UK tax payer to allow the Log Cabin to
reclaim tax.
Shop through hungryelephant.co.uk,
an easy way to raise money for the Log Cabin by shopping online.
Whether it’s a department store, an online bookseller, an
electrical store or a holiday company, all the major retailers are
represented. Just buy via the site and we receive a percentage of
your money.
Join the Log Cabin 100 Club.
Each share costs £12 for a whole year’s membership,
and you can buy as many shares as you like. Half the money goes
to support the Log Cabin and the other half is prize money.
Attend one of our Events.
Become a Log Cabin member:
You will be entitled to vote at the Log Cabin’s AGM, you will
receive invitations to our events, you give your support to a local
organisation that works for local children and your membership fee
goes towards helping us in our work with children with special needs.
Membership is £5.
Become a member of our Management Committee. The task is not onerous
– Trustees meet about every six weeks, and occasionally in
between – but it is a responsible and satisfying role, allowing
you to become involved in the Log Cabin’s development. If
you are interested, contact Helen Johnson on 020 8840 1506 for further
information.
