The Log Cabin Summer Fun Day on 14th June

The Summer Fun day on Sunday 14th June was fantastic fun for all the family - sports, games, rock'n'roll dance lessons, face painting, art activities, photography, a children's singing competition and lots and lots more entertained everyone for hours. We were thrilled that so many families old and new joined us, and delighted to welcome the Mayor, Ealing's 3 MPs, and local councillors too.

Huge thanks to Muhammad Aman and the ABN Foundation for all the work and effort you put in to make it a tremendous event

The vegetable garden is coming on. Thank you, Elaine!

Elaine Hagan has volunteered to  plant a vegetable bed for the children. Despite the incredibly hard, dry earth, she managed to dig the bed to prepare it and has begun the planting process, so that the children will be able to pick fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs for their tea. They have been watering plants enthusiatically and watching with bated breath to see what happens next!

Volunteers work on the Nature area

A team of willing Hands On London volunteers came to do some sterling work in our playground and nature area. Several tons of donated sand, a new bench, renewed woodwork and a big cleared patch of ground later, not to mention their inventive use of recycled materials, everything looks terrific!
