The Log Cabin named as the Mayor of Ealing's charity

We're delighted taht the new Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Simon Woodroofe, has chosen us to be one of his two Mayor's charities this year. Look out for exciting events and fundraisiers this year!

The Chilli Challenge raised a magnificent £643! (Participants have recovered).

Darren from Ealing Privelege Card and Colleen from Northfields Estates spent several weeks working towards eating one of the hottest chillis in the world to raise money for the Log Cabin. On 17 December Darren took a deep breath and swallowed the final eye-watering, fiery mouth chilli.

They raised £643 for the Log Cabin. Well done and thank you so much, Darren - your bravery takes our breath away!

Bassam's stunning fundraising achievement

And thank you to all his supporters, too

Dave Reynolds of Pollyprint raises £245 for the Log Cabin. Thanks, Dave!

A brilliant evening at Jackson's Winebar in Northfield Avenue raised £245. Dave from Pollyprint performed classic songs with his Singtrix and raised the roof.

Thanks, Dave, and thanks to all those generous enough to donate.

Many thanks to those who ran the Ealing half Marathon for us - Bill Hardman and Michael Palfreeman. You made good time in punishing weather conditions! And thanks to those who made donations.

Rosanna Henderson of @Rosanna'sMosaics, who made all the wonderful mosaics for the Log Cabin, has a new film showcasing her "story". The film was made by Little Whale, who made the lovely film of our reunion. Both are generous volunteers.
